Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work "Jonestown", 2006 by Charlie White for SEK 10,000.00 (€ 846.90). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Charlie White have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Granddaughter", 2005 in May 2011 with an auction result of SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,627.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Jonestown", 2006 von Charlie White für SEK 10.000,00 (€ 846,90) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charlie White auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Granddaughter", 2005 im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 50.000,00 (€ 5.627,43).
