Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Web) by Charles LeDray was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 81,250.00 (€ 72,791.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Charles LeDray have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Promised Land was auctioned for USD 182,500.00 (€ 135,657.47).
