A top price for Charles LeDray
In November 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Session I including Works from the Peter Norton Collection, which included the work Promised Land by Charles LeDray. The »bidding war« ended at USD 182,500.00 (€ 135,657.47), 52% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Promised Land the most expensive artwork by Charles LeDray that we have observed at auctions so far.
