Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage du midi by Chaïm Soutine was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 248,750.00 (€ 281,129.89) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chaïm Soutine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Bœuf in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 28,165,000.00 (€ 25,618,519.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paysage du midi von Chaïm Soutine kam im Juni 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 248.750,00 (€ 281.129,89) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 180.000,00 – 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chaïm Soutine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Bœuf im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.165.000,00 (€ 25.618.519,19).
