Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nature morte aux poissons by Chaïm Soutine was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Online auction at Christies in New York in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 400,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 435,000.00 (€ 369,458.13). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chaïm Soutine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Bœuf in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 28,165,000.00 (€ 25,618,519.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nature morte aux poissons von Chaïm Soutine wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 400.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 435.000,00 (€ 369.458,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chaïm Soutine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Bœuf im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.165.000,00 (€ 25.618.519,19).
