Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paysage by Chaïm Soutine was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 187,500.00 (€ 166,120.32). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chaïm Soutine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Bœuf in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 28,165,000.00 (€ 25,618,519.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paysage von Chaïm Soutine kam im November 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 187.500,00 (€ 166.120,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chaïm Soutine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Bœuf im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.165.000,00 (€ 25.618.519,19).
