Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La femme en rouge au fond bleu by Chaïm Soutine was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,842,300.00 (€ 2,134,805.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chaïm Soutine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Bœuf in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 28,165,000.00 (€ 25,618,519.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La femme en rouge au fond bleu von Chaïm Soutine kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.842.300,00 (€ 2.134.805,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chaïm Soutine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Bœuf im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.165.000,00 (€ 25.618.519,19).
