Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Le taureau by Chaïm Soutine was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March last year. It achieved a price of GBP 138,600.00 (€ 164,325.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chaïm Soutine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Bœuf in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 28,165,000.00 (€ 25,618,519.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le taureau von Chaïm Soutine kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 138.600,00 (€ 164.325,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chaïm Soutine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Bœuf im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.165.000,00 (€ 25.618.519,19).
