The work Video Rocks by Carolee Schneemann was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2019. It achieved a price of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,571.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carolee Schneemann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eye Body: 36 Transformative Actions in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 185,000.00 (€ 168,273.60).

Die Arbeit Video Rocks von Carolee Schneemann kam im April 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.571,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carolee Schneemann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eye Body: 36 Transformative Actions im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 185.000,00 (€ 168.273,60).
