Auction result misses estimated price range
In October last year a collector was able to acquire the work Fazzm by Carol Bove for USD 189.00 (€ 190.26). This price was achieved in the auction Editions & Works on Paper at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carol Bove achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Lovers in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 308,000.00 (€ 265,014.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fazzm von Carol Bove für USD 189,00 (€ 190,26) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carol Bove erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Young Lovers im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 308.000,00 (€ 265.014,63).
