This artwork by Carol Bove achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November 2018. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session auction, the work When Attitudes Become Form sold for USD 100,000.00 (€ 88,315.82) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carol Bove - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Young Lovers, which sold at auction in September 2018 for USD 308,000.00 (€ 265,014.63).
