Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 Christies held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Small Prudence by Carol Bove. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,290.04). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carol Bove achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Lovers in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 308,000.00 (€ 265,014.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Small Prudence von Carol Bove zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.290,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carol Bove erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Young Lovers im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 308.000,00 (€ 265.014,63).
