Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bror Marklund could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Spring Modern Sale auction, the work Studie till "Gestalt i storm" changed hands for SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,659.63) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bror Marklund - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pig, which sold at auction in May this year for SEK 55,000.00 (€ 4,739.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bror Marklund konnte im Mai 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Spring Modern Sale wechselte die Arbeit Studie till "Gestalt i storm" für SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.659,63) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bror Marklund mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pig beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für SEK 55.000,00 (€ 4.739,07) versteigert wurde.
