This artwork by Bror Marklund achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2015. In the Moderna auction, the work "Hysterisk kvinna" (Hysterical woman) from the series "Mäster Olof" sold for SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,603.21) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bror Marklund - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pig, which sold at auction in May this year for SEK 55,000.00 (€ 4,739.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bror Marklund erzielte im April 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Moderna wurde die Arbeit "Hysterisk kvinna" (Hysterical woman) from the series "Mäster Olof" für SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.603,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bror Marklund mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pig beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für SEK 55.000,00 (€ 4.739,07) versteigert wurde.
