Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bror Marklund could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "Gestalt i storm" (Figure in a storm) changed hands for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,147.54) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bror Marklund have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pig in May this year with an auction result of SEK 55,000.00 (€ 4,739.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bror Marklund konnte im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit "Gestalt i storm" (Figure in a storm) für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.147,54) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bror Marklund auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pig im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 55.000,00 (€ 4.739,07).
