Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work "Marknadsgycklare" (Market jester) by Bror Marklund for SEK 13,000.00 (€ 1,120.14). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art + Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Bror Marklund have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pig in May this year with an auction result of SEK 55,000.00 (€ 4,739.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Marknadsgycklare" (Market jester) von Bror Marklund für SEK 13.000,00 (€ 1.120,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bror Marklund auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pig im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 55.000,00 (€ 4.739,07).
