Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work 'Mäster Olof - Spelman' by Bror Marklund was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 5,000.00 (€ 423.45). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bror Marklund achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pig in May this year with an auction result of SEK 55,000.00 (€ 4,739.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit 'Mäster Olof - Spelman' von Bror Marklund im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 5.000,00 (€ 423,45) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bror Marklund erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pig im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 55.000,00 (€ 4.739,07).
