Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Two Dogs In One Field by Bob Law. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,864.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bob Law achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nothing to be Afraid of V 16.7.69 in March this year with an auction result of GBP 101,100.00 (€ 115,020.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Dogs In One Field von Bob Law zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.864,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bob Law erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nothing to be Afraid of V 16.7.69 im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 101.100,00 (€ 115.020,78).
