Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (landscape) by Ben Akkerman was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2002. The price achieved of EUR 7,170.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ben Akkerman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2013 with an auction result of EUR 39,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (landscape) von Ben Akkerman kam im Dezember 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.170,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ben Akkerman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.900,00.
