Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Enschede by Ben Akkerman was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December 2018. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,051.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ben Akkerman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2013 with an auction result of EUR 39,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Enschede von Ben Akkerman wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.051,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ben Akkerman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.900,00.
