This work without title by Ben Akkerman was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011. The auction ended at the price of EUR 2,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ben Akkerman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2013 with an auction result of EUR 39,900.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ben Akkerman kam im März 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ben Akkerman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.900,00.
