This artwork by Ben Akkerman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2013. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 21,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ben Akkerman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in April 2013 with the realized price of EUR 39,900.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ben Akkerman erzielte im April 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 21.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ben Akkerman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 39.900,00.
