In May last year Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Day Auction, which included the work Decoración de interiores by Beatriz González. The price achieved of USD 176,400.00 (€ 164,383.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Decoración de interiores is the most expensive artwork by Beatriz González that we have observed at auctions so far.
