Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pair Of Paintings: Piedad 7 And Piedad 2 by Beatriz González was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2008. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,831.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Beatriz González achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Decoración de interiores in May last year with an auction result of USD 176,400.00 (€ 164,383.56).

Die Arbeit Pair Of Paintings: Piedad 7 And Piedad 2 von Beatriz González kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.831,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Beatriz González erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Decoración de interiores im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 176.400,00 (€ 164.383,56).
