Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boerenjongen Paard Leidend (Studie) (Farmboy Leading A Horse (Study)) by Bart van der Leck was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in March 2018. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,692.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bart van der Leck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Compositie No. 3 in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 313,250.00 (€ 363,857.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Boerenjongen Paard Leidend (Studie) (Farmboy Leading A Horse (Study)) von Bart van der Leck wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.692,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bart van der Leck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Compositie No. 3 im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 313.250,00 (€ 363.857,63).
