The work Study for a tapestry by Bart van der Leck was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2017. It achieved a price of EUR 2,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bart van der Leck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Compositie No. 3 in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 313,250.00 (€ 363,857.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Study for a tapestry von Bart van der Leck kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bart van der Leck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Compositie No. 3 im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 313.250,00 (€ 363.857,63).
