A top price for Bart van der Leck
The work Compositie No. 3 by Bart van der Leck was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2013. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 313,250.00 (€ 363,857.63). With this result, Compositie No. 3 is even the most expensive work of art by Bart van der Leck that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Compositie No. 3 von Bart van der Leck kam im Februar 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 313.250,00 (€ 363.857,63) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Compositie No. 3 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Bart van der Leck, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
