Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Dart Champion by Barnett Freedman was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2007. The price achieved of GBP 600.00 (€ 891.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Barnett Freedman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work On The Cliffs At Dover in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,920.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Dart Champion von Barnett Freedman kam im Juli 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 600,00 (€ 891,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Barnett Freedman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit On The Cliffs At Dover im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.920,48).
