However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Barnett Freedman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work On The Cliffs At Dover, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,920.48).

Die Arbeit 15 Inch Gun Turret, Hms Repulse, August 1941 von Barnett Freedman wurde im November 2006 in der Auktion The Poetry of Crisis; The Peter Nahum Collection of British Surrealist and Avant-Garde Art 1930-1951 bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.603,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%.
