The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,980.85) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Wesley Dow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Moon Over The Hill, which sold at auction in October 2014 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 18,954.51).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.980,85) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Wesley Dow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Moon Over The Hill beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 18.954,51) versteigert wurde.
