Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Arthur Segal achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June last year. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Drei Figuren sold for GBP 233,100.00 (€ 270,795.89) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 100,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Arthur Segal; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot „Selbstporträt“. sold at auction in June 2021 with the realized price of EUR 375,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arthur Segal erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale wurde die Arbeit Drei Figuren für GBP 233.100,00 (€ 270.795,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 100.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Arthur Segal; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit „Selbstporträt“. im Juni 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 375.000,00.
