This artwork by Arthur Segal achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Sydney in November this year. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Selbstportät sold for USD 44,100.00 (€ 40,429.04) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arthur Segal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „Selbstporträt“. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 375,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arthur Segal erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Sydney einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Selbstportät für USD 44.100,00 (€ 40.429,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arthur Segal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „Selbstporträt“. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 375.000,00.
