In July 2013 Christies in New York held the auction First Impression Prints and Multiples, which included the work Housetops, 14th Street by Armin Landeck. The »bidding war« ended at USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,694.02), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Armin Landeck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pop's Tavern, which sold at auction in August this year for USD 6,048.00 (€ 5,579.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Impression Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Housetops, 14th Street von Armin Landeck zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.694,02) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Armin Landeck mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pop's Tavern beobachtet, die im August diesen Jahres für USD 6.048,00 (€ 5.579,85) versteigert wurde.
