Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Manhattan Nocturne by Armin Landeck was sold in the Tales of the City: New York Prints and Photographs of the Early 20th Century auction at Christies in Sydney in August this year. The price achieved of USD 1,134.00 (€ 1,046.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Armin Landeck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pop's Tavern in August this year with an auction result of USD 6,048.00 (€ 5,579.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Manhattan Nocturne von Armin Landeck wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Tales of the City: New York Prints and Photographs of the Early 20th Century bei Christies in Sydney versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.134,00 (€ 1.046,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Armin Landeck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pop's Tavern im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.048,00 (€ 5.579,85).
