Sold at the lower estimate price
This work without title by Ann Hamilton was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2015. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,791.79) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ann Hamilton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abc.Table in May 2004 with an auction result of USD 153,100.00 (€ 125,317.18).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ann Hamilton kam im April 2015 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.791,79) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ann Hamilton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abc.Table im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 153.100,00 (€ 125.317,18).
