This artwork by Ann Hamilton achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in June 2020. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Untitled (From The Body Object Series) sold for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,214.50) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ann Hamilton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abc.Table, which sold at auction in May 2004 for USD 153,100.00 (€ 125,317.18).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ann Hamilton erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Untitled (From The Body Object Series) für USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.214,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ann Hamilton mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Abc.Table beobachtet, die im Mai 2004 für USD 153.100,00 (€ 125.317,18) versteigert wurde.
