This artwork by Ann Craven achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November 2021. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Wasn't Sorry Calla Lily Fade, 2006 sold for USD 62,500.00 (€ 55,373.44) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ann Craven achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work I Wasn't Sorry, 2003 in May last year with an auction result of USD 680,400.00 (€ 634,050.88).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ann Craven erzielte im November 2021 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Wasn't Sorry Calla Lily Fade, 2006 für USD 62.500,00 (€ 55.373,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ann Craven erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit I Wasn't Sorry, 2003 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 680.400,00 (€ 634.050,88).
