Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Blue Pecker #3, 2003 by Ann Craven. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 57,075.00 (€ 55,289.16). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ann Craven achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work I Wasn't Sorry, 2003 in May last year with an auction result of USD 680,400.00 (€ 634,050.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blue Pecker #3, 2003 von Ann Craven zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 57.075,00 (€ 55.289,16) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ann Craven erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit I Wasn't Sorry, 2003 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 680.400,00 (€ 634.050,88).
