Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
The work Baby Cordon Bleu, 1997 by Ann Craven was worth HKD 693,000.00 (€ 85,995.64) to a buyer in November last year. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle at Phillips in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Ann Craven have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work I Wasn't Sorry, 2003 in May last year with an auction result of USD 680,400.00 (€ 634,050.88).

Die Arbeit Baby Cordon Bleu, 1997 von Ann Craven war einem Käufer im November letzten Jahres HKD 693.000,00 (€ 85.995,64) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle bei Phillips in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ann Craven auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit I Wasn't Sorry, 2003 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 680.400,00 (€ 634.050,88).
