Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bird with Pussy Willows (9-10-12, #3) by Ann Craven was auctioned at Phillips in London in March this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 27,940.00 (€ 31,787.15) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ann Craven achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work I Wasn't Sorry, 2003 in May last year with an auction result of USD 680,400.00 (€ 634,050.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bird with Pussy Willows (9-10-12, #3) von Ann Craven kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 27.940,00 (€ 31.787,15) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ann Craven erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit I Wasn't Sorry, 2003 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 680.400,00 (€ 634.050,88).
