In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction, the work Owl (Barred Owl Looking), 2014 sold for USD 94,500.00 (€ 91,543.16) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ann Craven have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work I Wasn't Sorry, 2003 in May last year with an auction result of USD 680,400.00 (€ 634,050.88).
