Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Spear by Angelo Filomeno. It changed hands for a price of USD 39,400.00 (€ 25,321.34) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Angelo Filomeno have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2008 the work Venom was auctioned for GBP 30,500.00 (€ 39,892.80).

Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spear von Angelo Filomeno zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 39.400,00 (€ 25.321,34) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Angelo Filomeno konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2008 die Arbeit Venom für GBP 30.500,00 (€ 39.892,80) versteigert.
