Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Abyss by Angelo Filomeno was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in March 2021. It achieved a price of USD 8,190.00 (€ 6,974.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Angelo Filomeno have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Venom in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 30,500.00 (€ 39,892.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Abyss von Angelo Filomeno wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 6.974,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Angelo Filomeno auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Venom im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.500,00 (€ 39.892,80).
