This artwork by Angelo Filomeno achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in February 2008. In the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Venom sold for GBP 30,500.00 (€ 39,892.80) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. This high result makes Venom the most expensive artwork by Angelo Filomeno that we have observed at auctions so far.
