Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Angelo Filomeno could be acquired at Phillips in New York in February 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Haunted Land (Six Trees) changed hands for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,047.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Angelo Filomeno achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venom in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 30,500.00 (€ 39,892.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Angelo Filomeno konnte im Februar 2018 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Haunted Land (Six Trees) für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.047,33) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Angelo Filomeno erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venom im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.500,00 (€ 39.892,80).
