The work Sin Título by Alejandro Obregón was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 52,920.00 (€ 43,398.39), 32% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alejandro Obregón have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bodegón in May last year with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 234,833.66).

Die Arbeit Sin Título von Alejandro Obregón wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 52.920,00 (€ 43.398,39) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alejandro Obregón auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bodegón im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 234.833,66).
