Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included this untitled work by Alejandro Obregón. The price achieved of USD 17,640.00 (€ 17,757.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alejandro Obregón achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bodegón in May last year with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 234,833.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alejandro Obregón zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.640,00 (€ 17.757,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Obregón erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bodegón im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 234.833,66).
