This work without title by Alejandro Obregón was auctioned at Christies in New York in September last year. It achieved a price of USD 113,400.00 (€ 115,915.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alejandro Obregón - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bodegón, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 252,000.00 (€ 234,833.66).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 113.400,00 (€ 115.915,36) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Für andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Obregón mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bodegón beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 252.000,00 (€ 234.833,66) versteigert wurde.
