Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included this untitled work by Alejandro Obregón. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,536.08). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alejandro Obregón achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bodegón in May last year with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 234,833.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alejandro Obregón zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.536,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Obregón erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bodegón im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 234.833,66).
