In February last year Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Bodegón by Alejandro Obregón. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,818.96) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alejandro Obregón achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bodegón in May last year with an auction result of USD 252,000.00 (€ 234,833.66).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bodegón von Alejandro Obregón zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.818,96) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Obregón erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bodegón im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 234.833,66).
